Dream Bitches
The now defunct Dream Bitches began as a duo. Yoko Kikuchi and Ann Zakaluk met during their studies at Wagner Junior High School, on East 76th Street, in 1993.
Incidentally, their sound, which features pretty harmonies and oftentimes distorted guitars, reminds some people of the early 1990s. The music is often described as "cute" but in actuality their lyrics reveal a darker side.
Members have included Casey Holford, Julie DeLano of The Leader, Jen.Knee, Tina Harris, Nan Turner, Jordan Cooper, Sam Lazzara, Dibson Hoffweiler and Chris Maher.
