The Studio

Olive Juice Studios was created to provide a comfortable environment for the free flow of ideas and sounds. We are of the belief that the best way to start with a good recording is getting to know the force behind the sound: the artist. While we are always on the look out for happy accidents we believe that there is no substitute for time when it comes to getting what you want out of a recording project. This is why we try to keep our rates low and the artists' high (ly) involved in the process.

Matt Roth (a.k.a. Major Matt) has over 15 years of experience in sound engineering and sound design. Since 2001 Matt has been producing and mastering music for himself and others out of his unconventional home based studio located in NYC's Lower East Side.

Olive Juice Studio's core operations center around a Mac based Pro Tools LE system. Our capabilities include recording, mixing, digital editing, and mastering.
